First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jackson Spalding.
PR Coordinator
After initially feeling good about the interview and the company, I was asked to do a writing assessment after the first interview. They said they would review it and let me know about next steps. I spent 2 hours on the assessment and sent it in via email. After that, I heard nothing back. I sent a few follow-up emails asking for updates and thanking them for their time, but I was completely ghosted. It was a really disappointing experience given how much time and effort I put into it, only to be ignored.

Account Executive
Applied online and recruiter got back in two days. After chatting with the recruiter the next week, we set up a time for me to do the writing assessment and meet two team members. Each part was a week apart and no updates. After 2 weeks, I contacted the recruiter and was told the team was still meeting with candidates for the first round and they'd be in touch next week. So after 6 weeks, still no update. This whole thing took almost 3 months.
- How familiar are you with the B2B space?
Communications Professional
It was a multi-round process. I sent my resume in and HR got back to me pretty quickly to set up an interview within the first week. It included an initial phone screen and a writing test. HR was really responsive and great to work with! There were several rounds of interviews with different team members, and there was a possibility of group interviews.

Account Coordinator
The first step was a phone interview where they asked some basic 'About Me' questions. About a week later, I got a writing assignment that was supposed to be done in two hours. Honestly, two hours felt too short to really do a good job on all the writing parts and not have it look sloppy.
