First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jackson Health System.
Registered Nurse
So the interview was pretty formal and they really went into detail. I met with a panel of three people, two Nurse Managers and an Educator. I talked to all of them and answered their questions. Then, I got to ask them questions about the department and the job to figure out what a registered nurse does day-to-day.
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
Nurse
It was a really nice and relaxed interview, not much pressure. I was super nervous beforehand, but the nurse manager was so friendly as soon as we started. It really shows their company culture. I liked talking with the manager and getting a tour of the unit.
- What motivates your interest in the NICU?

There were multiple interviews for a position in the ambulatory department, focusing on post-operative patients. The job involved working Monday to Friday, starting at 5 am and finishing after the last patient was discharged or transferred, sometimes past 7 pm, making work-life balance challenging.
