Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jack Morton.
Account Manager
I met with the Manager, then the SVP, and finally HR. It all happened super quickly but in a weird order. HR talked about benefits before I was even officially offered the job. It then took some time to get a response from HR. After that, I was offered the position.
- What do you dislike most about working onsite?
Account Manager
Totally disappointed with Jack Morton, their candidate treatment is awful and disrespectful. I had the same bad experience across multiple offices and can't recommend them. In Boston, I joined a six-week boot camp and got into their mentorship program, but my mentor ghosted me after one session when we agreed on six. They didn't reply to my thank you note or support me, excluding me from the program. When I asked for a reference or to look into it, they ghosted me again, which is unacceptable given my hard work. I wouldn't have submitted a project if I knew they'd do a 360. Unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful. In London, I had a friendly chat, expressed interest, and showed my experience and industry knowledge, but they ghosted me. In Australia, despite urgent calls for UK hires, I sent my CV and expressed interest. After chasing for over six weeks, and only replying when I nudged them on LinkedIn, the HR lady suggested a call, but then ghosted me when I proposed dates. Atrocious and unprofessional behavior, why treat talented professionals like this?
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Jack Morton?
Account Manager
We had an initial meeting with the head of department, followed by a chat with the manager, and then a final meeting with HR to finalize the roles and responsibilities. It was a very easy remote process, and communication was very friendly and responsive.
- What are your motivations for applying to this role?
- What is driving your desire for a career change?
