Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jack and Jones.
Sales Assistant
It started with basic interview questions. They asked about the company's background, like where it was established and how many stores they have. They also asked what I would do in some situations and how I would act/respond to certain customers.
- Where did Jack and Jones originate?
- Could you tell me about the company's founding and the number of stores it operates?
- What actions would you take in specific scenarios?
Sales Assistant
I got a call asking to come in for an interview, which was really nice. They asked me some questions about my personality and my experience, and then I did a role-play to show my sales skills with one of the staff members on the floor. It was a really pleasant experience, and the team seemed to genuinely care about each other, showing me it's a good place to work.
- Tell me about a time you provided excellent customer service.
Sales Assistant
It's a standard, 20-minute retail interview. They're mainly seeing if you're a friendly person and if you can work the weekend shifts they need. Expect a few questions about your interest in the brand and how you'd interact with customers. It's a very typical, low-stress chat.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
