The panel interview was scheduled for today, but the recruiter told me it would be delayed by 15 minutes, which was fine. I got there on time and waited in the lobby for more than an hour with no updates. I finally contacted the recruiter and they said the hiring manager was running late and had just gotten to the office. When the hiring manager finally picked me up, I discovered that two of the panelists hadn't shown up. The 60-minute panel interview was cut short to a 20-25 minute chat with the remaining people. I'm not sure if other candidates had the same thing happen, but I can't see how. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get an offer. Based on my experience, I wouldn't suggest Simplot as a place to work.

After applying, I got a recruiter call about a week later. They set up a phone interview for the following week. At the end of that call, I found out I was moving on. The recruiter said a hiring manager would contact me to schedule the next interview, which was supposed to be in 1-2 weeks. I followed up a few times but never heard back. It's been 2 months.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process involved two stages. Initially, there was a phone call, followed by a Microsoft Teams meeting. During the Teams call, I was asked to deliver a sales pitch presentation and engage in typical interview questions and discussions. Throughout the process, the people I interacted with were genuine and passionate about the company, offering kindness and support. While the overall timeline was a bit extended, it was manageable.

So, I had a couple of calls with them and everyone I spoke with was really nice. The person I talked to gave a lot of details about the company and the role, which was super helpful. Honestly, I've never had someone give me this much info before. It was a great experience. The process itself had two calls. The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with four interviewers all at once. They really focused on what I knew and asked about how I'd handle new things I hadn't worked on before. They cared about more than just my domain knowledge; they wanted to see how I think, react, and what I expect in different scenarios. I genuinely enjoyed the conversations.
