The interview process involved an initial HR chat followed by a panel interview with a few of the hiring managers. It was a pretty standard sales interview, nothing too tricky. A key point for me was not knowing which manager I'd end up reporting to, as that really influences my decision about accepting the role.

Technical

I applied through LinkedIn and then got contacted by the recruiting team. I had a call with the hiring manager and two other developers. It was a technical interview, not behavioral. They let me know within a month they wouldn't be moving forward. The first part of the interview felt a bit awkward with long silences, like they might have already decided something but weren't sure how to proceed. But then the second half, they seemed more comfortable.

Behavioral Presentation

This was hands down the worst interview process I've ever been through, truly terrible. They moved me along really fast. There were meetings both virtual and in-person. Everyone I spoke with said I was a great fit. Then, they just stopped responding. Even after a bunch of conversations with everyone involved, I just got a generic email saying I didn't get the job. When I left a negative review, the head of recruiting sent a canned response saying they had to promote from within due to a shift in their business model. Having been involved in many interviews from both sides, this is not how you treat a candidate who put in a lot of time.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process started with a telephone interview that was quick and easy. The HR representative was very friendly, and we talked casually. I believe they were assessing my phone presence and first impressions, as that's how we connect with customers. The second interview involved coming in person. This interviewer was also easy to talk to. The questions were somewhat specific and situational, but I managed well because I had prepared for such questions. Following this, I received a call offering me the position. I accepted, and they informed me of the start date.
