First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at J&B Medical.
Customer Service Representative
After sending in my resume, I got a call to complete a test. The test had math and reading questions. Then, I had an in-house interview. During the interview, they asked about my attendance, punctuality, and call-off record from my last job. They also asked about a time I brought a group together in a past job, if I was in charge of any projects, and many customer service-related questions.
- Can you tell me about your attendance record and if you were consistent in your work?
Customer Service Representative
When I got to the interview, I overheard some really unprofessional conversations in the waiting area between the receptionist and other staff. Even though it's a secure place that needs a receptionist to let people in (to follow HIPAA rules), she was talking to another employee about how she had too many patient accounts to handle. I should've just left then.
- Is this your first time working in a family-owned business?
Customer Service Representative
I submitted my application online. Once I got there, I filled out another application and then took a computer test and a personality test. The interview itself was a straightforward Q&A, asking about company information. It seemed to go well because they asked me to come back for a second meeting since the main decision maker had to leave early due to sickness.
