It was a simple in-person chat. We talked about my background, how I could help out the restaurant, and my skills. Then we got into my availability, and by the end of the chat, they offered me the job and we discussed when I could start training.

The interview had two parts, first with a manager and then the general manager. They'll look over your resume and ask some easy, informal questions. Pretty much, they want to see if you're up for the challenge of learning their way of doing things over a month. You'll have to pass some tests before you can actually start serving. Everyone was really nice, and it all went pretty well.

I went in and filled out an application. Then, the manager asked me about my background and experience. The first interview went well, and I met with the General Manager. The GM asked about my availability and told me I would meet with another manager later. I met with that manager during orientation, and they developed my matrix and conducted the orientation.
