First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IZEA.
Account Director
The interview process was fairly straightforward. It began with a Screening Interview with HR, followed by an informal phone call with the Hiring Manager. After that, there were two conferences with several members of the team, and the last one involved a Mock Sales Pitch. Everyone was friendly and supportive, and they were very willing to answer any questions. Some of the team members even offered to be available after the meeting for follow-up questions about the job and culture.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What's your experience level with social media?
- What's your experience level with content?
Account Director
It was a phone interview and it was good. They asked a lot about college and past experiences, and anything similar I've done in other jobs. They focused on transferable skills and any sales experience I might have. They're looking for someone with industry knowledge in social media, sales, and customer service.
- Can you share an instance where you utilized both hemispheres of your brain for a school project?
- Tell me about your college experiences.
- Tell me about your past experiences.
Account Director
I applied on a Friday and on Monday, I got an email to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager that week. After that, I had another call with the supervisor, and then the following week, I was invited for an in-person panel interview. Everyone was really nice and answered my questions about the company and the role.
