First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IZEA.
Account Executive
I had a recruiter phone screen that was pretty good. Then I had an in-person interview. It felt unprofessional and annoying because the interviewers didn't ask good questions and made me feel awkward by talking and laughing amongst themselves and mumbling inside jokes. They seemed immature, and it was a waste of my time.

Account Executive
I found the job online and after a few weeks, a recruiter reached out. She was really nice and we had a quick call. Then I spoke with a top sales rep a few days later. I liked that they gave me info about the job upfront. They said they wanted to move me to a panel interview. It took them weeks to get back to me, and when they did, it was an invite for the very next day, which was a problem because I was out of the country and couldn't respond. So I missed the interview, even though we didn't agree on the time. I tried to reschedule when I got back, but never heard anything. They hired someone else and didn't tell me why I didn't get the offer. Everyone was nice though, and I liked talking with them.
- What interests you about IZEA?
Account Executive
I was contacted by the company after attending a career fair at my school. They set up an interview for the following week, and I got the job offer about 10 days after that interview. During the interview, I met with three people in person and one person via FaceTime. It was a pretty standard interview where they asked about my past jobs and any sales experience I have. It was pretty chill, but it still felt like a real interview, and they seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say.
- Can you share an original idea you had that proved successful?
