Technical Sales Executive
I had an HR round first for basic introductions. Then there was an objective tech round with about 50 questions to answer. After passing that, I moved to a technical interview. This technical interview was quite dull, and I felt the interviewer wasn't technically knowledgeable. He asked questions from his laptop and got angry when I asked for specifics. He even made fun of me for saying 'speeds' instead of 'speed'. Instead of asking questions, he started pointing his finger very close to my eye and loudly asked if I'd interviewed before. I said no, and that their database would show that since they maintained one for interviewees. He kept yelling even after I said I hadn't interviewed before. Finally, he told me to leave. I told the consultant how it went, and they took me back to the HR from the first round. The HR wasn't surprised and asked me to wait. After 10 minutes, I was given a phone for another tech round over the phone. This round was good, with proper, detailed, and specific questions, which I cleared.
- They asked a lot about sales, specifically how to upsell products to clients.
Technical Manager
The interview process included 1 screening round, 3 technical discussions, 1 Delivery Manager round, and a final HR round for salary negotiation and offer commitments. When I reached the HR round, I had to wait for an hour. Then they clarified that the technical panel was stuck somewhere and I might have to wait. The interview started with a general discussion that led into the technical part. The last round was more about managerial activities, discussing worst-case scenarios of the organization's culture and the process to overcome them. Overall, the experience was good.
- What was the reason for leaving your previous company?
QA Engineer
The interview process involved two technical rounds and one HR round. After the technical interviews, the HR round took place. Once everything was finalized, there was a 20-30 day background check period before an offer was extended. An initial induction by HR covered company policies.
- Can you tell me about the basics of testing?
- What roles and responsibilities have you handled previously?
- What is your current knowledge in this area?
Manager
An agency recruiter called, and the interview was set for Gurgaon. Day 1 had HR rounds with the Manager and VP, followed by the Training VP and OPS VP. Day 2 consisted of a written test and then a telephonic round. Day 3 was offer negotiation with a junior HR person. The HR department released the offer after I sent my pay slips.
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
