The interview lasted about 30 minutes and provided a lot of insight into the company. They asked many questions to understand me better personally, my interests, and my reasons for pursuing this career and major. There were also questions about my experience with teamwork and my comfort level with data and Excel. I felt the interview went really well, it was the most engaging one I've had. However, I was ghosted for two months without any follow-up information, which was disappointing given it's an innovative and highly respected company.

Behavioral Technical

ITW tries to let each business unit manage their own decisions for opportunities and growth because they want to work decentralized. It's a very laid back environment, and they look for people who can work independently with minimal supervision. This really taught me how to manage my time and give my own input. My interview process started with a phone interview where HR reviewed my past experience and education. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview to go over the same things, but this time with production management.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Regarding your past teamwork experiences, describe a time when a group you were part of disagreed on an issue and how you handled it.
