The interview process for the Associate RF Design position took over 3 weeks. It started with a recruiter call for general profile discussion. Then, there were two phone technical rounds covering basic concepts like conversion gain, mixer IL, Smith charts, Op-Amp specs, and resume projects. Transceiver architectures, data rate, and quadband frequencies were also discussed. Finally, an on-site interview with 6 one-hour rounds was scheduled. The interview felt more like a lecture than a Q&A, focusing on resume details, antenna parameters, receiver measurements, and included one behavioral round. It was a strange experience, and I'm glad I didn't get an offer.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

Had an initial phone chat with the Team Leader for about an hour, discussing different aspects of metering design. They gave feedback and asked for a second interview at Felixstowe. The second round involved an on-site HR intro and interview, covering company background and role details. This was followed by a technical Q&A session with the Team Leader and R&D Manager, which had good technical questions and interaction with senior management. A site visit was then done by another Senior Engineer. Finally, there was a face-to-face HR meeting where they explained the next steps and when I'd hear back about a decision. The whole process, from the first phone call to the offer, took about 3-5 days.

The interview process started with a 45-minute phone call to review my background. After that, I came in for an onsite interview. It began with a 30-minute meeting with HR. Then, I had one-on-one meetings with my potential colleagues, starting with the Manager. Each person I spoke with asked their own set of questions related to their specific topics, like C#, C++, C, testing, and ethics.
