Software Engineer Intern
HR reached out to me and we quickly set up a call with the manager. The manager talked about the team's vision and projects. The whole thing took about two weeks since I had other things going on.
- Can you discuss your past experiences and what your future plans are?
- What impact did your overseas exchange experience have on you, and how did you grow from it?
Software Engineer
So, first I talk about my thesis and past work, then I have to solve some coding problems against the clock, making sure to explain how I'm thinking and also discuss system design. Then, I'll get asked some behavioral questions, and I'll have to share experiences that show I'm a good fit.
- How would you approach solving coding problems specifically related to the C programming language?
Software Engineer
We started with a presentation about myself, and then the supervisors asked questions about it. After that, there was a quiz with basic programming questions, and some questions to gauge my personality. The programming quiz included implementing time tables and a string processing problem.
