Project Manager
I had my phone interview with the recruiter from HR, who was really nice and gave good feedback. Then I spoke with the program manager on the phone, who was also very kind and professional. My final interview was with my boss, which was also a positive experience; we had a relaxed yet focused conversation about the job duties and my past experience.
- There were no difficult or unexpected questions during either of the 3 interviews.
- I did have to take a test, which I stressed about for quite a while, but it went better than expected, and later turned out to be less important than I thought at the time.
Project Manager
I had an initial phone interview with iSoftStone HR, and then I spoke with the hiring manager. Following that, I met with a hiring manager for the company I would be working for. After those successful interviews, they hired me really fast.
- Have you ever managed a project from the beginning of requirements gathering all the way through to its launch?
Project Manager
Had a recruiter chat for about 30 minutes, then met with the program manager a few days later. Got the offer about a week after that. It was a pretty standard interview process overall, and it seems they interview and hire for their clients.
- Can you describe your approach to mitigating project risks?
