Margining Operation Analyst
It was a long process. I had a phone screening first. The next week, I interviewed with a director. The week after that, I had three interviews in a row on a long Zoom call with Employee 1, Employee 2, and then the original recruiter and another HR person at the end. Lots of STAR questions. The conversations were easy with everyone except the original recruiter. Communication was a bit spotty from start to finish.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a conflict or disagreement with a colleague and describe how you managed it?
Computer Scientist
I had a pretty good interview experience. The questions they asked were well-chosen. They did a nice job explaining how ISO operates the grid, which is helpful because a lot of ISO's functions aren't well-known to people new to the industry.

Intern
I applied online back in February and after a couple weeks, I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. That interview was pretty short, maybe 10 minutes, and we just talked about some basic things on my resume. Then, about a week later, the hiring manager got in touch to schedule a more technical interview. In that one, she asked me about my Python knowledge and more questions about my resume. A few days after that, I got the offer.
- Could you share which class you've enjoyed the most during your time at school?
Operational Performance Training Integration
I applied online and then had a half-hour phone interview about two weeks later where they asked me about the company and some behavioral questions. After that, they sent me a dataset to manipulate in Excel. I had to send the updated spreadsheet back for an hour-long webcam interview where they asked me about it. Apparently, I misunderstood one instruction, which messed up the rest of my work, but they were nice about it. It was mostly behavioral questions, not technical except for the data part. My friend got an offer four hours after her interview for a different role, but I got rejected after almost three weeks.
