First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ISG Ltd.
Senior Design Manager
The interview was pretty standard, it felt formal but was actually super chill. HR was really on top of answering any questions I had and I got to chat with some of the people who would be on my future team.
- Can you tell me about your experience managing multiple projects simultaneously?
Bid Manager
So, there were two interviews and a written task. The first interview was pretty standard, asking about my background, skills, and future plans. The second interview also covered those things, but we also went over the written task I completed.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What skills do you possess?
- What are your goals for the future?
Design Manager
Applied through the website, got a call from HR within a day or two saying that the interview will be set-up by the end of the week. Then silence for a month... HR eventually called back after a month to offer an interview date. Went to the interview in their office, the interviewers were both nice making sure they answered all my questions while also interested to talk through my experience. Interview was a rather long one and took 1.5h. They promised to come back to me within a week, and they never did. It's disappointing that they wasted time of two interviewers and my time on almost a 2-hour long interview and then never sent even a simple rejection email.
- Can you walk us through your experience?
- What are your thoughts on the responsibilities of a design manager?
- What's motivating your transition from a design firm to a contractor role?
