Instructor
First, you submit your CV through their website or job post. Then, there's a quick initial phone screening, about 10-15 minutes, just to see if you're still interested, when you're free, and if you can communicate okay. After that, you'll do a technical assessment, either online or live, testing basic programming stuff like loops and conditions. They might even ask you to explain some simple code like you're talking to a kid. Finally, you'll prepare and deliver a short demo lesson, 10-15 minutes, to show you can explain things clearly and keep beginners or kids engaged.
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
- Have you ever taught children before?
Coding Instructor
it was a one way interview first you get an email with all the data and link then you get asked 10 questions regarding teaching and dealing with kids the importance of integrating business with coding and how to deal with students of different levels also it included different English tests
- How do you approach teaching students who are at different levels in the classroom?
- Can you explain the significance of integrating business concepts into coding education?
- What are your thoughts on how to effectively manage students with varying abilities in a coding class?
Code Instructor
It was like a screening, not a live interview, where I had to record my answers to questions either by video or text. That was the HR and Technical screening. After that, there was an English quiz, I'm not sure why. I don't really know the reason I got rejected, I even asked for feedback and got no answer. I applied twice. The first time I got to the Technical screening. The second time I didn't pass the HR screening, even though my answers were probably the same or even better.
- Can you introduce yourself in English?
- How did you find out about this job opening?
- Have you taught children before?
Coding Instructor
So the process is like this: they have 8 stages in total, all on willow. You'll probably be speaking English most of the time, but watch out, they might ask you to speak Arabic and that could disqualify you. The technical part is pretty chill, they just ask about your past projects, if you're into game dev, if you've used Unity, and what languages you know, plus your grad project. Then there's an English quiz across three sites. Your English level really impacts your salary, so nail those tests and take your time. For HR, it's just normal questions, just be yourself and you'll be fine. I actually stopped before the end because they weren't looking for part-time instructors, which is what I am.
- Describe your previous projects.
- Do you have an interest in game development?
- Have you used Unity before?
