The interview process was way too long and really needs to be shorter. There were too many phone calls back and forth before the face to face interview. I thought the 'what if' scenario questions were way too extreme for the building environment, considering these are building systems like fire suppression that are designed and installed for these scenarios.

I applied online and about a week later was invited to an 'Interview Day.' The staffing team suggested a phone interview instead because I lived out of state. A week after that, an interviewer called to ask basic questions about my experience and how I'd handle situations. They said they'd pass this along to the hiring manager and I'd hear back if they wanted to proceed. The next day, a recruiter called with job details like pay and rental discounts. Two weeks later, the property manager called to schedule an in-person interview, but I turned it down to pursue another opportunity.

I applied online and got an email about an in-person interview, but the sign-up said all slots were full. I called, and they told me to try again the next day, which I did, but still no luck. The following week, they called me to schedule the interview and sent an email with info about dress code, directions, and salary for a different role. At the interview, there were other applicants for various positions. The interviewer was professional, filling in for someone else and taking notes. She read questions from pages and typed my answers into a laptop. The whole thing took about 45 minutes. She mentioned I'd be contacted if selected and the next meeting would be at a property. As she was leaving, she asked about salary requirements. I was a bit vague, saying it depended on the whole package, bonuses, etc. She did mention bonuses are involved (a percentage of salary). Just a heads-up. No offer yet.
