Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Irvine Company.
Associate
The recruiter first called to do a phone screen before sending my resume to the hiring managers at the office. Both interviews were about an hour long and were mostly conversations about how my experience fit the associate role. Personality and how I present myself seem to matter in the hiring process.
- What do you like most and least about working in customer service?
Associate
The interview went really well, it was a deep conversation where I felt like I was learning a lot. The role was a bit different than I thought it would be, but I'm super excited to start.
- Were you familiar with Angus?
Associate
It was a pre-COVID in-person interview that I did at one of their commercial properties. The team was really friendly and I had a positive experience. It felt pretty informal, and we chatted about ideas for marketing the property, onboarding new tenants, and keeping tenant satisfaction high.
- Do you have any creative marketing ideas for attracting future tenants to the property?
- What are your thoughts on how to best onboard new tenants?
- How would you ensure that tenant satisfaction remains high?
