I went through 3 interview rounds for the Senior QA Engineer role and got positive feedback at each stage. They got my agreement to start on September 30th, but then they wouldn't give me an offer letter, making up silly reasons. Eventually, the HR person stopped answering calls and responding. I don't understand why HR does this; if they don't have an answer for a candidate, why not just say no or explain properly? I was really looking forward to the offer, but honestly, I don't need this job anymore. I don't want to work for a company with such HR policies. Feeling disappointed!

I had a call with an IT manager that lasted about an hour. They asked a lot of scenario-based questions, and it was a really good conversation. The manager said my application would go to the next stage, and I even got that confirmed through my referral. After five days, I hadn't heard from HR, so I emailed them about the outcome. HR replied saying my application was rejected, which seems like a miscommunication between HR and the manager. While applications do get rejected, it's important to give the correct reason. It wasn't a great experience.
