This was honestly the worst interview experience I've ever had. I'm making a serious request to the company to please select interviewers who have better etiquette, professional conduct, and empathy. During my interview, the interviewer was yawning, constantly moving around, wasn't patient listening to my answers, made really annoying faces the whole time, and pointed out obvious things that I already knew, like asking for the VLOOKUP input format. When I started explaining it, they interrupted, made faces, and told me I needed to include the '=' sign at the beginning, which is pretty standard. Based on their facial expressions, I suspect they might be from the theater industry rather than IT. An interviewer really represents the organization, and if this is how they behave, people should definitely think twice before joining. I was asked about the trade lifecycle, types of derivatives, fixed income securities, futures vs. options, types of options, currency vs. interest rate swaps, and some SQL questions. The interviewer seemed to be looking for a very specific answer about VLOOKUP format and was quite impatient.

So I went through the interview and cleared all the rounds. The interviewer told me I would move to the client round. But just before that, I got feedback from HR that was completely unexpected. I disagreed with the feedback, so she suggested looking for another project and said I'd need to do one more round, and if it went well, an offer would be released, otherwise, another round would follow. I declined this and asked her to stop the process, as it felt like a waste of time. My advice: don't interview with this company, their requirements and feedback seem inconsistent.

They followed up quickly after the interview and gave me detailed feedback on why I didn't get the role, which was really helpful. I took a Python coding test and didn't do great, so I'm working on getting better at Python.
