Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iQor.
Call Center Agent
The first interview involves speaking only in English; no other languages are permitted. It's straightforward, asking for an introduction and follow-up questions to maintain the conversation. It seems to focus on fluency and coherence. The final interview is more challenging; you'll introduce yourself again, but then face technical questions about their telecommunications and company. The interviewers I met were all kind and friendly.
- Do you think customers are always right?
Call Center Agent
The interview process was short and to the point. I got an email reminder for my interview date and time. I arrived 15 minutes early to be ready in case I needed to fill out any paperwork. The recruiter checked me in and then directed me to the computers for the typing test. After that, I waited to speak with the supervisor, who was friendly and upbeat. He explained the position.
- Can you share an instance of handling an angry customer?
Call Center Agent
My first interview was actually pretty long, about an hour. I had prepared for expected questions, but they asked me things I didn't anticipate. Thankfully, I think I did okay. The interviewer seemed nice but also strict and a bit intimidating.
- What distinguishes a call center agent from a customer service representative?
