Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IQ-EQ.
Assistant Manager
The interview process started off really well. I had two interview sessions spaced out nicely. However, it was quite disappointing that I never heard back after the interviews. When I followed up, I found out that they had decided to withdraw the position.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered in your previous job?
Assistant Manager
First, there's an HR chat focusing on my background and experiences. Then, I have to take two tests: one for accounting and one for Excel. After that, the second interview is a technical one, mostly about accounting. The final interview is about management.
- Can you explain the difference between accruals and payables?
Senior Manager
I went through 3 interviews with people more senior than me. Then I had a final chat with my potential manager. I didn't do an HR screening. An external recruiter handled all the communication, which isn't typical for the company. Everything was done over MS Teams.
- Could you tell me what you understand about our business?
