It was interesting and varied. I spoke with about 4 people from the team in different roles. They asked about my goals, technical skills, sales ability, and more. I had a quick written assignment at the end, and then got the offer about a week later. I declined it, but it was generally a good experience.

I was contacted by HR for a phone interview. They like to call when you least expect it. I went into the NYC office for a 1:1 interview then a group panel interview. I was turned off by how sloppy the interviewers looked. The HR woman was fussing with her hair, a manager's hair was still wet. They ask questions about the prior phone interview (what is the position about, what do you remember about the position). Pay close attention to what they tell you about the position. After about 2 hours, the HR woman asked me again what the position was.

The Hr called me and asked some very simple questions like, Are you allowed to work in the US? Is the location close enough to you? Then, after weeks, they scheduled the interview with the hiring manager. That was good! She asked experience-related questions and was very nice over the phone. It took less than 30 minutes. Then, after some other weeks, they scheduled the interview with the hiring manager and the director of the company. Two hours before the interview, I received an email about a writing test that I would have to do when I got there and some market/financial related questions that I would need to answer. This was a surprise since the position was entry-level and they didn't ask for experience at all. The questions were very easy, not deep on my knowledge or experience at all, and I didn't feel really challenged. Although, after all, I felt like I should have spoken more about myself and not just waited for their questions. My big disappointment with Ipreo was the lack of organization in the interview process and feedback. They didn't have a date to close the position, and they didn't get back to me (since Oct/16 until now) to explain how the process was going. I am disappointed with this.
