We had 2 or 3 interviews, some virtual, some over the phone. It covered both technical and HR aspects. They asked about my past roles and what I did. They also asked why I was seeking a new job. There was a technical question about IT and the types of requirements I've handled.

Behavioral Technical

I got a call from HR for a Technical Recruiter role. After the initial phone chat, my in-person interview was set for the next day. I had three back-to-back interviews in about an hour. The first two were super short, like 5 minutes each, and the last one, the technical round, lasted 30 minutes. It was a good chat about current tech, my sourcing, and recruiting skills with the Operations head. They said they'd get back to me soon. The next day, HR called to say I was selected and needed my last 3 months' pay slips to move forward. I sent them right away, without even discussing salary details, which they said would happen after they got the slips. The only salary talk was about my current C2C. A week later, I followed up and was told they were doing a background check and would release the offer soon. Three weeks post-interview, I called again, and the update was the same – still processing, and they'd update me in a couple of days. After the in-person, the only contact was about my salary slip, and I had to chase them for updates every time. It's been 2 months now, and my application is still pending. The only positive is Manali always picks up my calls, but others are always busy or promise a callback that rarely happens. I was really hoping to join this big US staffing company, but I'm puzzled by how long their background check is taking. I was going to refer some friends and recent grads, but not anymore.
