We had 2 or 3 interviews, some virtual, some over the phone. It covered both technical and HR aspects. They asked about my past roles and what I did. They also asked why I was seeking a new job. There was a technical question about IT and the types of requirements I've handled.

The hiring process at Iplace involves several steps to bring on new team members. It typically starts with creating a job description and then posting the job opening. After that, interviews are scheduled. We then move on to preliminary interviews, followed by in-person interviews. Post-interview, we do follow-ups with candidates and finally make a hire.

My interview process started with an HR call since I was an employee referral. The first round was mainly about my introduction, education, and past experience, focusing on my communication skills. The second round was with the hiring manager. She asked me hypothetical questions like how long I'd stay if hired, how I'd commute since there are no cabs for the day shift, why I want this job, why HR specifically, and my 5-year plan. This round took 30 minutes, and I got confirmation to join after 2 days with the offer letter sent via email.
