IPIC Interview Questions
& Process

I applied online and then the national sales manager emailed me to schedule an interview. He messed up the calendar invite, so our time zones were off, and he called me hours before the time shown on my invite. The interview ran 30 minutes over, and it was mostly him talking. He wouldn't give me a specific salary or commission number, just told me to look up sales manager salaries in my area and that they pay around that. After the call, I felt like I wasn't a good fit for him or the company, so I withdrew from the process.

Applied on the company website, then went through an industry recruiter, and had an interview set up within a week. I met with the Regional Manager onsite for the location I was applying for. After about an hour interview, I was approached with a brief phone screen by the company's HR department. From there I was informed to complete a background check and online personality questionnaire. Within another week, an offer was made. Fairly simple process.

The interview process had two parts. First, there was a phone call which was a standard HR interview. Then, I had a one-on-one meeting at the Theater with the General Manager. This was a casual chat where he talked about the company, the job, and the irregular work hours for managers due to late movie screenings. He also asked about my work history and short-term objectives. He inquired about my previous earnings towards the end. Both the GM and HR seemed very focused on customer service. I didn't get the job, but I really liked the people and how the company handled the process.

I talked to a manager who looked over my resume. He asked me some stuff about my background and if I knew about iPic Entertainment. He also asked about my availability before I left. I was told they would call me back in a few days. But then I got an email saying they weren't going to move forward with a second interview.
