First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IPG Mediabrands.
Director of Talent Acquisition
a third-party recruiter contacted me to schedule a call after some initial back-and-forth messages, but then they stopped responding. It was a really bad experience for a candidate, especially since I didn't even apply for this role.

Recruiter
I chatted with the VP of the team, and it went super well. They then invited me for an in-person meeting, being really chill about the timing. The meeting was an hour and a half, and we even did an office tour. The VP mentioned I'd move on to meet the rest of the team. I sent a thank you, then a follow-up email a week later, but got zero response. Still nothing. It feels really rude and misleading how this person handles interviews; seems like others have been through this too. It's just humiliating, demeaning, and rude.
- If you needed a resume by 9 AM tomorrow and had already checked LinkedIn and job boards, what would your next steps be?

I applied online through LinkedIn and heard back within 2-3 days to schedule a phone screen, which was about 30-45 minutes. The next day, I had an in-person interview with 3 managers that went a little over an hour. I got the offer the following week.
- What's motivating your job search?
- Can you describe your organizational methods?
- Walk me through a typical day in your current role.
