The atmosphere was nice, and I was asked questions by 4 different people. They asked me standard questions about my motivation for wanting to work there, and also some questions about migration in my country and how it relates to the office. The interview was competency-based, and they were looking for me to talk about my past experiences.

The recruitment process took place in three stages. It began with a written test, which helped assess basic skills and understanding of the role, followed by two rounds of interviews. Since the candidates and interviewers were based in different countries, the entire process was conducted online, which also allowed for more flexibility in scheduling.

I applied through Jobstreet and heard back from HR about 10 days later to set up a phone interview. I ended up talking to a panel of 3 interviewers. They asked about my extracurriculars, strengths/weaknesses, why I want this job, and some technical stuff. Since the role is in the Counter Trafficking Unit, they also asked what I know about trafficking in Indonesia, and how gender equality connects to it.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tell me what you know about trafficking, and if you're aware of any specific cases in Indonesia.
  • Are you aware of any trafficking cases in Indonesia?
