I first met with the COO to talk about my experience, then I met with the CEO to discuss my experience. After that, I got a take-home assignment that was supposed to take 3 hours but ended up taking way longer to build a mini version of their product. They also asked if I'd fit their startup culture, which involves working late nights and weekends. The third interview was with the engineers, and they asked technical questions, mostly about debugging and my process for it. One engineer's enunciation wasn't great, but it was fine. After that, there was no more communication. It felt like they were looking for someone really experienced but willing to accept low pay.

I had an on-site interview at their office, but they didn't cover my travel costs. Even though I spent a lot of time and over $100 getting there, the interview itself was only 15 minutes. It felt like they didn't really respect my time. It would be better if companies either paid for travel or made sure I was a good fit before asking me to come in.

This was such an empowering process! I felt supported by expert leadership all the way from the recruiter call to my final demo presentation. This is the only place I've seen where everyone is genuinely happy, enthusiastic, and really lives company culture and diversity. The further I got into the interviews, the more I wanted the job. It was tough, and they're definitely looking for top talent, starting with whether you fit their culture and values.

I got through the interview process, and it was a really good experience overall. The interviewers were all very nice. I think this is a great company to work for.
