The recruiter was super late for the interview and we had to reschedule, but they were nice about it. They asked typical questions about my resume, biggest challenge, and salary expectations. I made it to the next round, but they canceled the day before and said they aren't recruiting for the position anymore. I was pretty bummed and felt like I was snubbed since I prepped for days.

It was pretty simple, first a recruiter called me, then I had a video interview with the manager for the role. After that, we had an email and roleplaying exercise with three team members, then one-on-one interviews with each of those three. I thought I had a good shot at getting the job after those steps, but they rejected me. The roleplaying part wasn't hard, but the feedback was just like "be more real," which is tough for a roleplay about something you've never sold. Even with four years as an account executive, it didn't count unless they liked how you looked on camera. I applied for a sales dev rep job, which is below an account exec, mostly because I wanted to move up in the company. So even if you get far, don't assume they'll hire you based on that; they need to like your vibe before experience. The worst is, everyone was nice and made me feel welcome, so the rejection really stung. My advice is, don't get too hyped if you keep passing stages, because like many Invision interviews on Glassdoor show, many don't get offers.

The whole process was pretty straightforward and quick, with 5 rounds total. First, I had a call with a recruiter who asked typical questions and went over the job. Then, I had a video chat with a sales manager. The third interview was the toughest part: a 30-minute presentation followed by three 1-on-1 chats. The last two interviews were with directors and others. It was challenging overall, but the questions weren't too hard if you prepared. Standard questions, really.
