Customer Success Manager
I applied for the role and got an email inviting me to the next steps. I had to fill out a form and complete a personality quiz. The next day, they informed me they were moving forward with another candidate. When I asked for more detailed feedback, they stated they were seeking someone based in the US or Canada, although this wasn't specified in the job requirements. Interestingly, the position is still advertised after several days, and the location requirement isn't mentioned, despite the company claiming to be fully remote and that applicant location shouldn't matter.
- Can you tell me where you are located?
Customer Success Manager
It started with a screening call, then an HR person was going to set up the next interview. After I scheduled the times, the HR person forgot to put it in the calendar and set me up with interviewers, so I had to follow up and remind them. Then I had to wait until the next week to reschedule. The video calls were with two different people, and the questions were really basic and didn't seem to measure my skills at all. The whole thing was kind of a mess, and by the middle of it, I wasn't even sure I wanted to continue.
- What would you do with a million dollars?
Customer Success Manager
The whole process was pretty enjoyable, with really nice people. Everything was done online via video calls, and it involved some role-playing and tests to see if I had the right skills. I had three separate one-on-one video interviews with senior members of the team. After that, there was a video panel interview with a mix of senior team members and my potential colleagues.
- How would you adjust to working from home?
