First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at INVIDI Technologies.
Software Engineer
I first had a chat with the recruiter, who shared some company details and then set up three online tests for me. Two of these tests had technical questions, and the other was a confusing multiple-choice quiz. After that, I had a phone screening with an engineer. They asked me about my general knowledge and threw in a technical question too. Finally, I got to the last stage, which involved four 45-minute interviews. Two of these were technical, and the other two focused on behavioral aspects.
- Can you write code to print a pyramid?
- Is the provided IP and subnet pair valid?
- How many hosts are available in the given subnet?
Software Engineer
The interview process is quite rigorous. Initially, candidates undergo three online assessments. If they perform well on these OAs, they are then invited to two group interviews, one lasting 60-90 minutes and the other 3-4 hours. I had a very negative experience; despite passing the OA with all test cases met, I was rejected. I recommended a friend who had a stronger profile, and upon her application submission, we both received rejection emails almost instantly. This pattern of immediate rejection upon finding a more qualified candidate was observed by several friends as well. They don't offer sponsorship for international students. The HR team initially says they will, but then the manager denies it, indicating a severe lack of internal communication and coordination. For the entry-level role I applied for, the questions were challenging, particularly in languages I was less familiar with.
- The Java OA included a fundamental stack question.
- The multiple-choice questions consisted of four sets, with the first set focusing on OOP concepts.
- The multiple-choice questions consisted of four sets, with the second set covering Linux commands.

So the interview process started with this multiple choice Codility test, it was pretty easy, basically asking general Java and C++ stuff. After that, I had a quick ~15 min chat with the recruiter about what kind of jobs I'm looking for and when I'm available. Then, the final round was a pretty long one, like 2.5 hours total, with 4 sessions back-to-back. The first two parts were more like behavioral, asking about my projects and stuff, or maybe a bit technical explaining them. The third part was more general knowledge questions in C++ and Java. And the last part was solving a Leetcode problem.
- Find all unique triplets in a given integer array that sum up to zero.
