Behavioral Technical Presentation

We start with an online application and resume review. Then, there's a brief phone and recorded video interview with HR to check your motivation, how well you communicate, and if you're a basic fit. If you pass that, you'll get a technical interview with our engineers or researchers. We'll talk about your academic projects, internships, and core biomedical engineering stuff that's important for the job. Finally, there's a wrap-up interview, maybe with a group, to see how you solve problems, work with others, and handle real engineering challenges in a clinical or industry setting.

Behavioral Technical

I applied and then HR contacted me about 3-4 weeks later, but they were super unprofessional, not even putting my name in the email and never responding to my emails, just sending Google invites with no info. They also scheduled interviews outside of my availability. The first interview was a 30-min HR phone call where they seemed uninterested, but I got them more engaged by asking questions. A second interview with hiring managers was scheduled for the next day, a 1-hour video call with 2 senior engineers. One manager grilled me on project details, admitting they liked to fluster candidates. They wouldn't answer my questions, just went in circles or turned questions back on me. When I asked about training, one manager said they didn't think there was one. They said the next steps would be another interview, but I never heard back, and the job was reposted.

The application process is competitive. It involves a behavioral interview, followed by a technical interview. During the technical interview, you'll be presented with a machine or a prototype part and asked questions about it. It's important to showcase your technical skills and connect your previous experience to the prototype.

The hiring process was straightforward and consisted of three main steps. Initially, I had a chat with HR and the hiring manager. After that, there was a psychometric test. The final stage was a technical interview with two members of the team. The whole process moved pretty quickly, and I got the offer within a month.
