Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Investec.
Intern
It was a quick and easy process, everything was communicated well and it was simple to get in touch with the company. The steps included Hirevue, an HR interview, and then a panel interview, all done online and pretty straightforward.
- Tell me about your approach to managing your time.
- What are your methods for effective time management?
- Can you share an example of when you juggled multiple deadlines?
Intern
The interview process started with a HireVue, then an HR interview, and finally one with the team you'd be assigned to. While the HR team was super communicative and quick to respond, which was great, some of the interviewers seemed a bit uninterested, which kinda put a damper on the experience.
- What's your motivation for choosing Investec?
- Can you complete this situational judgment test (SJT) as a case study?
Scholarship
The recruiters are super nice. The interviews are engaging, mostly focusing on personality and getting to know you. Some questions are based on what you share during the conversation.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What distinguishes you from others?
