Senior Software Engineer
The interview process had three parts: two technical rounds and a final discussion. Technical Round 1 was mostly about my past work, how I solve problems, and real-life situations I've dealt with. Technical Round 2 involved puzzles and DSA questions, including a puzzle, building a URL shortener, and then improving it with follow-up questions. Early on, I talked about my salary expectations and got confirmed multiple times that it was okay if I passed. After the three rounds, I waited about three weeks with no news. Finally, they said I passed and was a good fit, but then told me they couldn't offer my expected salary or even close to my current pay. This was super disappointing and felt like a bait-and-switch after the earlier confirmations. Communication was bad and slow the whole time, making it stressful. Knowing about other bad reviews and this experience, I'd say think twice before applying here. The interview process seems to show how the company operates.
- Could you write the code for a URL shortener using a database?
Software Engineer
It was a super easy process. They asked me about my past experience related to what the job description wanted and then gave me a fast overview of the job and what it entailed. Super nice people.

Software Engineer
I went through three technical interviews. The first was an Angular Technical Interview focusing on RxJS. Since I mentioned my backend work, they asked about JWT and refresh tokens. The second round was a hands-on StackBlitz test for a UI task. The third round depended on how I did on the StackBlitz test, and it was in-person at their office. This last one was also technical with some behavioral questions like why I'm leaving my job. The whole thing was pretty straightforward and technical. It's been two weeks since the last round and I'm still waiting for feedback.
- Can you explain the distinctions between mergeMap, switchMap, and concatMap, providing practical examples for each?
- What is the difference between forkJoin and combineLatest?
- What is the behavior when an observable within a switchMap emits another observable?
