Office Manager
Even though it was for a staff role, the interview process was way longer than I expected. Lots of tests and interviews, felt like it took all day. The one-on-one chats didn't feel great; it was more like being interrogated than interviewed. You don't really get to steer the conversation, it's very one-sided. Asking a question felt like I was being made to feel dumb.
- Tell me about a time you were given a scenario and how you handled it.
Business Manager
I had a phone screen with a recruiter, then an online Hireview video interview. After that, there was a personality test, and then I was flown out for live panel interviews. I interviewed 3 candidates that day. I didn't get an offer and the recruiter never gave me feedback.
- Describe your biggest professional setback.
- What motivates your interest in working for XYZ Co?
- Share an instance where you had to deliver unfavorable news to a client.
Manager
It was mostly a meet-and-greet to see if my skills fit the job. Things moved really slowly. They didn't want to pay what I asked for salary. I heard nothing for about 6 weeks, then they got in touch again. The recruiter had to ask me when I graduated and why I worked part-time. I asked why that was relevant, and they said they were required to ask.
