I was fast-tracked through 3 interviews and then told the position has been filled internally. A few days later, their in-house recruiter contacted me asking if I’d be interested in continuing the interview process. I agreed and met with the senior manager. The last remaining interview was with the panel of 4 that I had completed my individual interviews. A month went by with no contact, so I reached out to the recruiter who responded immediately stating that I was still a candidate. Another month went by and no contact. I followed up again and this time, I was passed around. No one could find any record of my interview process. The position is still posted. They also sent me an independent survey of their recruitment process which I answered honestly. I was disappointed at first but now glad it did not move forward after reflecting on how I’d been treated. It’s a clear indication of what is going on inside their doors.

They really care about finding the right fit and making sure everyone on the team agrees on the candidate, so get ready to meet with basically the whole company! It can feel like a lot with 1:1s, panels, and presentations. I felt like even though I was being evaluated, it was tough to get a real sense of the team I might be joining. It felt like they missed the chance for it to be a two-way street. They want to know if you fit, but the way it's set up, you can't really do the same.
