Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Introhive.
Software Developer
I was contacted by Introhive and they wanted to interview me. The interview focused on my industry experience and asked for examples of problems I encountered and how I solved them. The communication was good and the people were friendly.
- Can you share an instance where you tried a software approach that turned out to be a poor decision, and what prompted you to change it?
Software Engineer
I had a friendly chat first, then a technical interview pretty soon after. After that, I went in for an in-person interview, which felt pretty relaxed as we sat around a table. The interviewers asked questions in a conversational way, relating them to my background and making me feel even more at ease, especially with the casual chat mixed in. An hour flew by!
- Are you open to learning new frameworks and technologies, not just for C++ but for software development in general?
Software Engineer
First, I had an in-person interview where I talked about my past work. Then, I did a programming exercise at home. After sending that in, I had two more interviews with different teams. I got the job offer in the end.
- Can you tell me about a challenging bug you encountered and fixed in a large system, and explain your debugging process?
