Software Developer Apprentice
This was by far the most unprofessional interview experience I've ever had. First, I had a screening with the apprenticeship program coordinator from HR. She was a no-call, no-show for about 30 minutes. When I emailed her, she was unapologetic and said she was on another call and would reschedule. After a couple of weeks with no response, I assumed they weren't interested. Then, her assistant emailed me to pick a day to reschedule. After the screening, I had a phone interview. They had technical difficulties because they had just changed systems and had to reschedule. Again, the same lack of communication and no reply to emails, and then weeks later I got a calendar invite. I did well on the phone interview and was flown out to Houston to meet the team. They said I was great at everything except a system design question that the interviewer himself didn't know how to answer. I actually went through the interview process twice with them, got the same results, and they kept telling me I was close and to try again. After the second time, I realized this wasn't the kind of company I wanted to work for. If this is how they treat employees, then I'm good, thanks.

Principal Software Engineer
This was a standard software engineering interview, with questions covering algorithms and system design. The difficulty was challenging but manageable, comparable to interviews at top tech companies like Google and Amazon. The interviewers were very friendly.
- Can you describe and design a Subscribe-Publish framework?
Software Engineer
Got put in touch by bootcamp recruiter. Had a phone call with a technical recruiter, it was 30 min long. Then had another phone call where I did a code test on Coderpad. It was a nice interaction. They mentioned they pay $18.75 for 3 months if I get accepted into their apprenticeship program.

- Please write a function that accepts a radius and calculates the area of a circle using the formula Pi * r^2.
