Operations Manager
So I applied to this job through multiple channels like email, LinkedIn, and Wuzzuf, like, a few times cuz the job kept being open. Then a recruiter hit me up on WhatsApp asking for my resume, which I'd already sent. We did some text screening, and then I got an interview with the Operations Director set up for two days later. This guy, despite being the Ops Director, didn't seem very technical and asked some really basic, wrong questions. It felt like he was just using his language skills to cover up. Plus, his interview etiquette was bad. He started recording without asking, kept his camera off, stayed muted, and kept disconnecting. And when I tried to ask about the job at the end, he just shut me down saying he couldn't share info.
- The technical questions were poorly formulated.
Customer Service Representative
My interview experience was unfortunately quite negative. While I understand that interviewers may occasionally have off days, I believe candidates still deserve to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. In this instance, the interviewer appeared visibly frustrated and openly criticized the recruiter in front of others, which created a tense atmosphere before my interview even began. During my interview, I encountered frequent interruptions and dismissive behavior. I was not given a fair opportunity to present my background or experiences, and much of what I shared was met with sarcasm or skepticism. At one point, I received comments that felt unnecessarily personal and not relevant to my qualifications or fit for the role. What made the experience especially disappointing is that the position I applied for was entry-level, yet I bring years of relevant experience and a strong performance record, which seemed to be overlooked entirely. Overall, the tone and conduct of the interview left me feeling disrespected and demoralized. I hope this feedback can contribute to improvements in the interview process for future candidates.

Technical Advisor
So first, you'll apply online through their website or a job board. Then, a recruiter will likely give you a call or shoot you an email to chat about the basics – like your experience, when you can start, and what makes you interested. After that, you might have to do an online test to check your typing, how well you multitask, how you handle customer issues, and your tech smarts, especially if it's an IT or support gig. Next up is the interview, which could be in person or online. You might have a one-on-one with the hiring manager, or it could be a panel interview, depending on the job. They'll probably ask about customer service, fixing tech problems, your past work, and how you'd handle certain situations. If you do well, they'll probably run a background check before making an offer. If everything checks out, you'll get the job offer and all the deets on training and when to start.

Human Resources Coordinator
I applied to this position after seeing it on Indeed and was contacted for a phone screening. Although I have a lot of experience in HR and Business Management, I was looking for a position that could set me on the path to becoming a certified HR Generalist. I prepped by researching the company and typical questions for a Coordinator role, and felt pretty confident heading into the call. However, I was taken by surprise when the screener started asking questions more suited for a Manager or Team Lead, which didn't align with the role at all. Questions about leading teams, managing 1:1s, and handling leadership-specific situations left me confused, wondering if there was a mix-up. She said I'd hear back by the end of the week, but I got a rejection email two and a half weeks later. It didn't bother me because I realized the role wasn't right for me anyway, and I've since moved on to other interviews. It wasn't the best experience compared to others I've had.
- What is your process for conducting a 1:1 with a direct report?
- How do you maintain team morale?
- What is your approach to handling a struggling team member?
