Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intesa Sanpaolo.
Functional Analyst
Phone call with HR. Then a single interview with 2 HR managers + 2 technical managers: they asked me about my functional and technical experience, and about my attitude, personality, and reasons for changing jobs. A few days later, I got an offer.
- How to do basic SQL queries
IT Analyst
interview with 4 persons from different sections. it was around 1 hour and the question was about soft and technical skills and knowledge of Italian language was so important the Hr asked the question in italian but you can answer in english.
- Can you tell me about your academic background?
- Describe your approach to problem-solving.
- Share an experience where you failed and how you overcame it.
IT Analyst
It was a not-too-difficult interview, mostly focused on whether I had a passion for the banking industry rather than checking my suitability for the role. Personally, I'd revise the organization to include more questions related to the IT field, since IT profiles don't necessarily need to know or love banking.
- What's your interest in the banking sector?
