Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intesa Sanpaolo.
Senior Analyst
They asked technical and personal questions about the various areas of interest. They required adequate knowledge of models, sectors, and underlying principles. The process was then supposed to be completed through other personal interviews.
- What models do you know for evaluating a stock?
Technical Analyst
After applying for the job, I was contacted for a 90-minute Teams interview. Positively, it was a single interview with everyone involved in hiring. The HR person, the IT manager, and the payroll office were on the call. First, I described my work history. Then, HR asked a lot of questions about my experiences, stressing the need to be "very convincing." After that, the technical person (who didn't have a webcam because it was "broken" - which I found really odd for an IT person after two years of remote work) gave a high-level overview of the role's responsibilities. Finally, they asked about my contract status. It actually took about 50 minutes.
- Tell me about a project you're most proud of. Can you describe a challenging situation you handled and how you dealt with it?
- Could you describe your work experience? Can you provide convincing details about some of your past experiences? Could you outline the IT responsibilities for this role? What is your current employment status?
Stage Analyst
It was a simple chat, they asked me about my studies, the exams I took and my thesis. The atmosphere was relaxed. The job offers stable employment but doesn't offer much room for career advancement. Overall, it was an educational and interesting experience. The work environment is structured and the colleagues were helpful.
- Can you tell me about your academic background?
- What exams did you take?
- Could you describe your thesis?
