The engineering team seemed friendly and smart. However, the company's name, 'Intertrust,' feels ironic given my experience. I initially informed the internal recruiter about my upcoming year-long international move and occasional office availability. They repeatedly assured me this was fine, mentioning UK and Estonian offices. The final panel interviews were supposed to be with the Sr. Director and VP of Engineering, but they were unavailable. Instead, I met with the Sr. Architect of the team I was interviewing for. He mentioned positive feedback from all interviewers and we discussed potential project areas. They said the VP would call the next day, which didn't happen. Instead, the recruiter contacted me, mentioning a round-table discussion where it was confirmed I was liked and had a good personality. However, the VP (who never called) expressed concerns about remote work possibility and asked if I could stay for 3 months to get up to speed. This was despite knowing my work arrangement constraints from the very beginning. I pointed this out, and the recruiter tried to justify it by saying I lacked knowledge in certain technologies, which was already clear from my resume. I strongly advise against wasting time with a company that misleads from the start. Even if I had stayed, they could have changed their minds again. You can't trust them if they lie once.

I applied at a university career fair, so the interview was at the campus career center. The interviewer seemed completely uninterested. They briefly asked about some projects on my resume before moving on to a coding question on the whiteboard. I don't think I did too badly, but it also seemed like the company had already found who they wanted to hire and just conducted my interview as a formality. Honestly quite annoyed because they told me I would hear from them over the weekend, but never did. Eagerly waited for a couple of weeks and sent emails to ask about the results, but I was completely ignored.

Had two rounds. First was a phone call where they asked two problem solving questions, they weren't hard if you know cs. The second round was for team match and we talked about my past experience. Then I got an offer call.
