First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intertek.
Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant
Applied for the role late March. About two weeks later, the potential supervisor called asking about my last job. She seemed fine with my answers and invited me for an in-person interview a few days later. I traveled two hours for this interview, willing to relocate. At the interview, I met HR and the supervisor. The supervisor was rude and uninterested throughout the 20-minute meeting. When I asked for their emails at the end, they refused, saying to just leave a message. Normally I get an email to send a thank you. I was very disappointed and won't apply to Intertek again.
- What experience do you have with technical writing?
- Have you handled confidential documents before?
- Do you have any questions for us?
Administrative Assistant
Applied for the job in early June. Got a call to schedule an interview about 3 weeks later. The interview itself was in early July, so it took almost a month from applying. It was a really thorough, informative, and professional interview. The interviewer was very conversational and gave a great overview of the company and what the job entails. They also answered all the questions I had. I felt pretty good about how it went.
- What are your salary expectations?
