First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intersport.
E-Commerce Specialist
I got an email expressing interest in interviewing, followed by a 30-minute online video call where they asked basic questions and discussed the job description. If I did well, the next step was an in-house second interview with a group of 2 or more people, which also included a tour of the premises.
- Can you share an example of a past challenge and explain how you successfully navigated it?
Buyer
The process was really clear with quick feedback and nice people. The place is great, and so is the canteen. I highly recommend it as a good school to learn and also to grow and change roles.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What do you know about us?
- What sparked your interest in this job opening?
Traffic Manager
I had an interview with the recruitment agency hired by Intersport, then a second interview with the HR Director and the head of the acquisition team. I was supposed to have a third interview, but I never got a response despite my follow-ups. They often ask candidates to be impeccable and to respond quickly. The least they could have done is give me feedback, even if it was negative. Also, don't apply if you don't live in the area (more than 40 minutes from Longjumeau). During the interview with the HR Director, I was told that I lived far away (1 hour commute), and this is the first time anyone has ever said that to me. I have suffered and will continue to suffer discrimination, even racism, because of my skin color. If now I'm also criticized for living in the suburbs, how am I supposed to manage?
- What is your commute time?
Sales Associate
The first call was a recruiter call. Then, there was a second interview with classic questions like 'introduce yourself?', 'what's the difference between Intersport and Decathlon?', and 'why Intersport?'. Finally, there was an on-site test, a sales simulation between the manager and the candidate. I didn't get any feedback, I would have preferred to be contacted even if it was to tell me no!!
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What sets Intersport apart from Decathlon?
- What motivates your interest in Intersport?
