Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interscope Geffen A&M.
Intern
Getting an interview was tough; a referral or knowing someone usually helps you get to that stage. The actual conversation was pretty chill, and we mostly just chatted to get to know each other. I felt good about the interview, and there was plenty of time at the end to ask my own questions.
- Can you share your previous experiences and explain why you think you'd be a good fit for this position?
Intern
First up is a HireVue, where you'll answer written and recorded questions. You can re-record as many times as you want and have a whole week to submit it after you're selected to do the HireVue. Then, you'll have a final interview with your potential supervisors on Zoom, with live questions.
- What type of music do you enjoy listening to?
Intern
It was just one 1:1 interview and they asked me questions like "Why do you qualify for this internship/what sort of experience do you have?" I had to talk more about my experience and resume.
- Can you expand on your background and what's on your resume?
