You get an assignment to do and have a week to finish it. Then they'll email you to set up an interview. You can ask to reschedule the interview if you need to. The interview is on Google Meet and goes smoothly. The interviewer is really nice.

I applied through Internshala, and the whole thing took about two weeks. First, they look at your resume. Then, there's a technical challenge where you get a task to finish within a time limit. After that, the tech lead interviews you, asking about your projects and basic LAMP stack stuff. Finally, you talk to the CEO for a non-technical chat to get to know you better. Everything was done online. Pro tip: Just be yourself, don't pretend.

I got a reply to my application in 5-6 weeks of application. Take-home assignment to develop a food delivery app with Login/Signup for Customers and Restaurants. I think the assignment was too big/complex to gauge the dev skill set. Tech Interview 1: Frontend dev related questions, ds/algo questions 5-6 questions. Tech Interview 2: backend dev related questions. A lot of discussion on the work culture. HR: basic hr questions, focus on extra-curricular activities, they wanted to know every stipend I ever got during my college. I picked up another web framework for the homework assignment yet I got this response: "You don't know PHP so we'll consider you as fresher and offer the minimum salary and first 6 months internship at a stipend (of 1/3rd of that salary)!" CTO round: asked puzzles. Here, I got to know that internship was just to cut costs and they do have a probation period for new joiner so the internship wasn't really required. The best thing was that they did provide feedback after interview process got over. I did want to work there as a fresher but things went downhill after tech interviews when they expected from me to work for peanuts.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tech and HR: general questions, nothing you wouldn't be prepared for.
  • Puzzles: given 25 horses, find min races to determine fastest, top 3 etc. Start with 7 and multiply by 2 successively in your mind.
