I had a recruiter call first. Then I took a Hacker rank test and passed. After that, I went to their El Segundo office for a face-to-face interview. An HR person explained the process. Then, a technical person asked me to write code on a white paper, expecting rough code and specific wording. They reviewed my resume while I coded. After I finished and made some requested changes, they asked about my past job experience and discussed company projects. The HR person then informed me that the next interviewer wasn't available and that I'd be contacted for further rounds if I passed the first one. I asked for feedback and was told I'd get it in the evening. I left the office. Five days later, I received an email stating I wasn't selected, which shocked me as I thought I provided the correct solutions. I tried to reach HR but got no response, leading me to believe they're not genuinely looking to hire.

The whole process took about a week. I did an online technical test first, and then a phone interview.

So my interview process for Java Developer started with a coding and MCQ assessment, which I passed. Then I had a technical interview with a developer where they asked me core Java questions, and I did well. After that, the next round was supposed to be a 2-hour interview with two managers. The first manager interview focused on non-technical questions and lasted about 40 minutes. After that, I was told to wait for the second manager, but they messaged to reschedule. I waited two days for an update, then contacted HR. They said they'd check, and shortly after, I got an email saying they're moving forward with other candidates. So basically, even with good technical skills, it seems like a waste of time applying here.
